Recently I came up with a very interesting theory. The theory says, that if you are too nice to everyone, they will use it against you. And the more I think about it, the more obvious it is. I had quite some situations recently that clearly showed me how people use your kindness for their own advantage and just assume that you say yes to everything and everyone.

Don’t make the mistake to interpret kindness as a weakness. Some people have to learn it the hard way. Their reaction to a clear “no” is priceless. But it’s the only outcome. If we feel like someone is abusing our kindness, we snap and fight back. Removing parts of the equation that are otherwise not even a problem for us anyways. Just as a pure demonstration of power.
