As some of you might have already noticed, I finally took the time and worked on a website logo for my blog.
Sure, first of all you want to see how it looks like, therefore here it is again.

Ok cool, but now you want to know more about the reason why I picked this one and not something else, right? That’s thee reason why we talk about this topic today.
When I started to think about this new website logo for my blog, it was already kind of clear, at least to me, that I did not want to work with a shortcut or something like that, which in the end, nobody knows what it actually stands for. Therefore, I did not just take the starting letters of every word, or even left them out of the logo after all. Sure, the logo would be much shorter and therefore doesn’t need so much space, but it would change the meaning of the project all together. These three words, added in exactly that order do just perfectly represents what this project is all about.
dream | act | succeed
In life, everything starts with a dream, an idea, a vision for a product, a service or a better future. But that’s most likely the point where a lot of people already stop their journey. They do not act upon their dreams, they are not willing to invest everything it takes. And sure, if they do not act, how are they supposed to succeed in the end, right? How should that be possible? It isn’t!
These three words are telling the success stories of every man and woman, who believed in their dreams, started to act upon them and finally succeeded in the end.
Dream, act, succeed, it is that easy.
Ok, but sure, you might did noticed that already. To be honest this is the name of my blog since day one, but I guess you are more interested in the little symbol at the end, correct?

Therefore let’s talk about it.
As you will have probably noticed already, it can be identified as a kind of a geometrical sign, representing two triangles sitting next to each other, but actually it represents much more than just that, for sure.
In fact, this symbol is intended as a kind of a model that represent a mountain range. You start on the left, dream about a better future, which is represented by the first mountain top and finally do something and act. Well, with that said, it is of course clear that the process of acting is meant to be the climbing up the hill. And what happens if we just keep on going, one step at a time? Right, we will succeed in the end and reach the mountain top / our goals. There is no other way around that! If you don’t stop on climbing, you will reach the top no matter what! That is just how it works.
But sure, once you are there, standing on top of the world, you will realize quite quickly, that this isn’t the top of the world after all. In fact, this was just the first mountain of the mountain range you are walking towards and the next one seems to be even double the size.
Well, as always in life, now you need to decide on what you want to do. Either keep on climbing and continue to work on your skills, or going down the hill on the other side and stay at your current level which will decrease over time, or simply go back and pretend that you were never even there.
As you might see, this is in fact more than just two triangles next to each other, because it may represent how life really is. There is always another challenge coming up, another task, another thing you need to overcome.
Life long learning = life long climbing up the hill
But sure, I may just be a little bit too convinced about this logo and think that it must be the best one in the world, but you might think otherwise. You may do not like it after all, think that it is too long, too short, too mainstream, too whatever. Therefore, please let me know what you think about it! Do you like it? Would you change something? Would you go in a completely different direction? Or just tell me your thoughts about it. I like any kind of feedback!
Thank you in advance!
Oh, and one more thing, are you interested in talking about the how to actually create such a logo? Like diving deep into the process of figuring out how this works? Just let me know and I will think about it!
See you next time!
