I am speechless. That’s not very often the case. But buying the new iPhone 18 pro Max showed me that there is a fundamental problem in today’s society. A problem that roots deeply within our bones, as it seems.
That we want to have something when it’s new and freshly out of the oven isn’t new. Of course we want to be one of the first people to have something. But how is it possible that you have to wait so long for a phone that should be available plenty. Did Apple miscalculate the amount of phones sold? Or is there a problem in their manufacturing facility? Or is this just a marketing trick to give people a feeling for buying something extremely special?
I don’t get it, seriously. We could have ordered the phone and wait for four weeks until it arrives. Or you just check the availability of the phone in the apple stores around you and get the next one whenever it’s free. That’s hilarious, honestly. Other people are waiting for a month to get theirs. We just buy it today and pick it up tomorrow. It’s a strange world we are living in. Just imagine other companies would treat their costumers like this. They wouldn’t be customers for long. Fascinating, really fascinating.
