I know, the race is long over when you can read this post. But for me, the race is still on the way. It’s Sunday, the 14.06.2026 at the moment. 06:08 am. The race was, at least so far, a bit boring, if you would ask me. The competition isn’t as interesting for me as it was in the past with Audi, Porsche and the like fighting for the win. But of course the Le Mans Prototypes are not really a thing we can easily relate to as fans. I would rather prefer to watch a race like the Spa 24h or the Nordschleife, when there are more relatable cars in the game.

Nevertheless, Le Mans has its place in the racing community. Also it’s most of the time just using the slipstream for overtaking. I guess at the end of the day, that’s what is making it so interesting. The cars are driving on their limits through the corners without much downforce to not loose on the straits.
